IMAGINE YOUR IDEAL FOREST
When you imagine a healthy forest, you might picture tall trees, lush undergrowth, and sunlight streaming through branches.
Now imagine that same forest with dead or dying trees, sun-scorched shrubs, and invasive weeds so dense that water cannot reach the soil.
Everything in the forest is interconnected.
You are the trees – your health, choices, and boundaries shape how you grow.
Your relationships are the plants and animals around you, influenced by your feelings and actions.
A forest is not measured by the number of elements in it or by their height.
Likewise, our life should not be measured by labeling successes as “good” and failures as “bad.”
We are the sum of our lived experience within our environment—whether we expand outward or stay protectively cloistered.
In a forest, as in our lives, every part has value. Remove one piece and the system weakens.
When we recognize our importance to the overall survival of our “forest/life,” we can take the steps to care for it.
When we are healthier, the entire ecosystem can flourish.
